ISB Multimodal Corridor Study

Address the need for sustainable development along the corridor from I-4 to Beachside Sustainable development = economics, land use, the environment and

multi-modal transportation Cost = $300K from FDOT plus support and services from membership Concept plan with deliverables: preferred alternative, short term and long

term project recommendations, potential funding options, barriers to implementation

Concludes April 2011 Public Involvement Plan = $100K from City and County plus in-kind

PURPOSES OF THE STAKEHOLDERS TASK FORCE (STF)

DEFINE 3 multi-modal transportation alternative concepts for the ISB

Corridor

ANALYZE and COMPARE the alternative concepts based on areas of expertise

COLLABORATE to determine the preferred multi-modal concept

RECOMMEND the preferred concept to be presented to the ISB Coalition
