leaders in business, education, healthcare, entertainment & government.

A partnership of the public and private sector focused on the development of sustainable community infrastructure to promote economic development.

ISB Multimodal Corridor Study

Address the need for sustainable development along the corridor from I-4 to Beachside Sustainable development = economics, land use, the environment and

multi-modal transportation Cost = $300K from FDOT plus support and services from membership Concept plan with deliverables: preferred alternative, short term and long

term project recommendations, potential funding options, barriers to implementation

Concludes April 2011 Public Involvement Plan = $100K from City and County plus in-kind

PURPOSES OF THE STAKEHOLDERS TASK FORCE (STF)

DEFINE 3 multi-modal transportation alternative concepts for the ISB

Corridor

ANALYZE and COMPARE the alternative concepts based on areas of expertise

COLLABORATE to determine the preferred multi-modal concept

RECOMMEND the preferred concept to be presented to the ISB Coalition

ORGANIZATIONAL ISSUES

Monthly meetings need to set time, date, location

Approach informal, cooperation, collaboration, consensus building

Schedule project ends April 2011

June develop criteria for alternative analysis, forecast future demand

August comprehensive evaluation of alternatives

November develop preliminary funding needs, constraints/opportunities
