The MBA Program is housed in Eastern Washington University’s College of Business and Public Administration, which is headquartered on the EWU Spokane Campus. Located in the heart of the University District, classes are easily accessible to business professionals or undergraduate students continuing their education. The facility offers conveniently located classrooms including a 200-seat auditorium. Plenty of parking is available. Buses also serve the campus.

The Master of Business Administration program at Eastern Washington University doesn’t stop with the basics. It goes a step beyond traditional MBA programs to ensure you are proficient in the following skills:

MBA FOUNDATION COURSES (32 credits)

Students with nonbusiness degrees may need to take some or all of the following courses prior to taking MBA core courses:

The MBA degree consists of 48 credits of course work: 28 credits of core courses and 20 credits of electives. Required courses:

MBA ELECTIVE CONCENTRATION OPTIONS

THE MBA PROGRAM AT EWUUnique business skills are an advantage in any career. From pharmacy to theatre, advertising to engineering, if you want to be a successful professional, you need to know about business.

EWU’s MBA program prepares graduates to make an immediate impact on their current career or to prepare for a new career. Students are given unique opportunities to apply business theory and practice to real-world experiences through case studies, internships and collaborations with regional businesses.

DUAL DEGREE OPPORTUNITIESEWU also offers a dual master’s degree in business administration and public administration. Combining an MBA with an MPA will make you especially marketable in today’s business world where skills in public-private partnerships are vital.

Gain international experience – Earn an MBA at EWU and an MA in international business and economics from the University of Applied Sciences in Schmalkalden, Germany, by studying for one additional semester in Germany. Courses are taught in English.

EWU offers graduate assistanceship opportunities that can pay for tuition for the full-time student.

THE FACULTYEastern’s MBA faculty are nationally and internationally renowned scholars with strong ties to the local community. They stay current in their specialties by conducting research and writing textbooks and scholarly articles that contribute to new trends in business theory and practice.

MBA courses meet once a week in the evening. Classes are small, typically 25 students or less, which allows for significant interaction between faculty and students.
