ISP 2022 – The programme at a glance
• English programme by two universities in Bochum
> EvH Bochum
> HS Gesundheit (University of Applied Health Sciences)
• Up to 31 ECTS credits in a blend of regular
semester-long seminars and compact courses
• International classes with German and international
students
• Intercultural and interdisciplinary approach:
Insights into social and health-related issues

ISP 2022 – contents and schedule
• March 17 – July 15, 2022 (including exams);
first week: orientation week
• Up to 5 modules in which up to 31 credits
can be earned (BA level).
• Up to 5 exams (one exam per module)
• Module 5430 and 5440 contain several
seminars that must be attended.
• Two universities – two places:
module 5430 and 5440 take place at EvH,
module CR07, CR08 and GuD19 take
place at our partner HS Gesundheit.

ISP 2022 – Support & Service
• Housing: We assist with the reservation of a room
in a student hall of residence.
• Health insurance: Support in taking out
a student health insurance policy (non-EU students)
• Orientation week: Intercultural training, German
crash course, discover Bochum
• Free German course (2x per week)
• Student assistants provide support during the stay
(and offer pick-up from the airport)

Funding for EU students
• COME IN scholarship
Scholarship for students from partner universities
outside Europe
Includes a daily allowance (10,-/day), the rent
(ca. 325,-/month) and the semester contribution
(333,- incl. public transport ticket)
Own contribution: flight, visa (ca. 75,-), health
insurance (ca. 100,-/month) and money for leisure
activities
• COME IN UEM scholarships (for students from member churches of UEM)
• COME IN EKvW scholarship (for students from partner churches of EKvW)
