About Tegro

The Swiss company Tegro AG was founded in 1971 and began life as a retailer in the car care and car accessories market. Over time, the company evolved into a general wholesaler and service provider to DIY stores, specialist retailers and supermar-kets as well as service station shops. The company‘s product range has undergone conti-nuous development and now also includes bicycle accessories and electrical materials as well as hand-held and garden tools.

We are certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2000.

Car care – brilliant and lasting finishWe are the only supplier in the market with the full range of products from the high-end NIGRIN brand. The product portfolio includes everything from paint care as well as interior and exterior cleaning products to technical maintenance solutions. This is complemented by the brands ARMOR ALL, STP and TURTLE WAX, which also form part of our product range.

Car accessories – a comprehensive range of interior and exterior vehicle equipmentUnder the brand name UNITEC, we offer an extensive range of interior and exte-rior accessories, as well as parts subject to regular wear and tear, such as wiper blades and car lamps. To ensure the best possible offering of car accessories, we complement this range with items from leading brands, e.g. PHILIPS car lamps, WEISSENFELS snow chains and Mont Blanc roof rack systems.

Air fresheners – for a fresh fragrance in the car or homeWe are the general agent for MAGIC TREE products in Switzerland. We also distribute AMBI PUR CAR, NIGRIN and Brise Car air fresheners.

Bicycle accessories – E-Bikes and moreWe offer an extensive range of products for all target groups under the PROFEX and Fischer brands. We have been operating the E-Bikes (made in Germany) business under the Fischer brand since 2011, for which we offer a customer-friendly home repair service for the whole of Switzerland.

Electrical materials – extensive product lines and efficient serviceUnder the brand name UNITEC, we supply a core range of electrical installation materials and attractive goods relating to home security as well as doorbells and outdoor LED lighting. All products are of excellent quality and comply with the relevant regulatory standards.

Decorative furniture fittings and coat racksWe stock over 400 articles for the home. The product range consists of classic and modern items in a variety of materials and colours. In addition to items made from wood, plastic and steel, we also supply glass and aluminium products. Furthermore, NESU cabinet knobs can be used in any combination to personalise hall stands. Both product ranges include designs for children.

Glass and wood shelving systemsOur home and living segment includes a range of glass and wood wall-mounted shelves. The decorative shelving is easily mounted on the wall with clips and brackets in classic or coloured designs.

Storage boxesWe offer customers a large choice of the patented Really Useful Boxes. The appeal of these boxes lies in their quality, choice of colours and range of acces-sories. Sizes range from 0.07 to 145 litres. They have a variety of uses and are perfect for organising, sorting, storing and stacking.

ToolboxesTools and accessories are quickly and clearly put in order in these practical toolboxes. Organisers are also available for small items such as screws, wall plugs and nails. Made from plastic, they are the perfect aid for DIYers.

Barbecue accessories /single-use barbecuesThe summer is for barbecuing. We supply accessories including tongs, brushes, grills and much more. Our single-use barbecue is ideal for spur-of- the-moment BBQs on outings or at the campsite.

Chains, ropes and accessoriesWe have an exhaustive range of chains and ropes, suitable for everything from basic uses around the home to semi-professional applications. Available in pre-packaged lengths or by the roll.

Nuts and bolts – extensive range aimed at DIY enthusiasts Nuts and bolts (and screws and nails) are an important element of our product range. We have an end-to-end portfolio of items aimed at DIY enthusiasts.

Ventilation and extractor systems We have a full range of ventilation and extractor systems for the kitchen and bathroom. They are particularly suitable for retrofitting and renovation projects.

GardeningWe offer a range of irrigation supplies, small gardening tools, garden machinery and a variety of protective eyewear. We also supply FSC-certified raised beds in wood, which are perfect for the emerging trend of urban gardening.

Protective clothing – for DIYers and professionalsWe offer a balanced selection of work and safety footwear as well as gardening and safety gloves. In addition to professional safety footwear, we have more affordable lines for the entry-level market. All work footwear conforms to safety standards S1, S2 or S3.

MagnetsNot only do we have a wide variety of technical magnets, we also supply a ran-ge of trendy, colourful and modern household magnets – ideal for a number of home or office applications. Our range also includes cylindrical magnets, which are excellent for handicraft projects.

Our locations Our central office is in Schwerzen-bach, an eight-minute walk from the railway station. Our external warehouse in Werrikon is located between Greifensee and Uster.
