Surgeon
He serves as a “leader of the team” Must be certain that all members
are aware of what is needed during the procedure and the necessary equipments are available
He performs the surgery

Assist the surgeon during the surgery in any way the surgeon request
He holds the retractors in the wound to expose the operative site
He places clamps on blood vesselsHe assists in suturing and ligation of

• A registered nurse with additional credentials who delivers anesthetic agents under the supervision of an anesthesiologist, surgeon or dentist.

• Must work very rapidly but efficiently even under tension
• Must be able to react quickly and make necessary changes for anything unexpected during the operation
• Must anticipates the surgeon’s needs and keep one step ahead of him, must be alert and observant

• Must fit in and work smoothly as a member of closely functioning team
• Must be able to organize his work effectively so that not even a single minute is lost
