Far Offshore Operations & Maintenance concept development and optimisation

• With the primary objective to reduce the cost of energy of far offshore wind farms, we have

developed a computer model (Advanced decision support tool) for analysing cost of energy

through

- Vessel fleet optimisation model

o Identifies the best cost effective maintenance fleet on a wind farm, to minimise the

maintenance cost (on a predefined number of visits, duration, wind turbine down time,

limitations, etc.)

- Life cycle profit simulation model

o Simulates the maintenance in a offshore wind farm over the complete life time of the

wind farm with hourly resolution

• Offshore Kinetics can utilise the above models for any Customer
