Meet Wally the Water drop.Wally was picked at random amongst the kajillion other water droplets to tell you all about the neat pool he comes from.
He is super excited.Hi Gorloks! ____
It’s a magical place called the University Center Pool. Isn’t it neat?
This is where I come from.
Aside from my family, only humans are allowed in the water. And that’s a good thing too. My crazy uncle Larry swears that he saw a shark once. But that was just a movie night when the humans were watching Jaws. That was pretty cool. Did you know that these samehumans label themselves asPool Lifeguard Attendants?
I guess it’s kind of cool. Here are some of the things they do: • Report to work on time and in uniform and nametag.• Attend all the exciting in-service and staff meetings.• Look really cool at enforcing pool and sauna
rules and other helpful policies.• Guard for the safety of each human using
my home (the facility).• Be easy to contact and respond in a
timely manner. The faster, the better.• Maintain a positive, welcoming rapport
with all the other humans.• Remain alert.

And then there’s this person they call the Student Pool Supervisor. Here’s a few things this person does:• Assumes the awesome responsibility of
handling all day to day operations.• Appears to look awesome all the time.• Assists with the general operation of
being awesome when the other lifeguards are unavailable.
• Creates the sweetest documents and policy manuals for effective operations.

Did you know that sometimes the little humans gather in packs and learn how to swim in the water with my family?
Yeah. They call this swim lessons.
Some of them are adorably cute. Makes me want to have a little droplet of my own.
Maybe one day..
____________________________Here’s a little about how it works:• They provide swim lessons for ages 4
and up• Day or evening sessions.• There are 5 different levels of
instruction; starting at beginner and working their way up to advanced.
• Beginner lessons help get the little humans comfortable with the water.
• Advanced lessons help with all strokes; technique and improving their endurance.
The pack leader of all these little human groups is someone they call the Swim Lesson Supervisor. Here are a few things this person does:
• Oversees swim lesson registrations.
____________________
• Makes sure we don’t lose our water; gets all the waivers signed.
• Communicates the lesson 411 to older humans (parents).
• Creates pack lists of these little humans and assigns instructors to teach classes.
Come & Swim.
So that’s about it for now.
Next time you’re in the neighborhood, check out the pool and..
