KIN AND SURERUS SITE PLANS 1

The Parks and Recrea� on Master Plan, adopted by Council in 2016, iden� fi ed the need to upgrade both of these parks.

Kin Park is home to 6 baseball diamonds, playground, outdoor green gym, BMX bike track, concession stand, outdoor ice rink, and washrooms. There is also currently a road running along the west side of the park that requires upgrades and may aff ect some ameni� es.

Surerus Park currently has 8 baseball diamonds, 2 soccer fi elds, tennis courts, horseshoe pits, playground, clubhouse, walking trails, and washrooms.

Work on both Park Site Plans will be conducted at the same � me for effi ciency and the opportunity for comment on both parks at the same � me. Following the crea� on of both Park Site Plans, the upgrades will be included in future Capital Budgets for considera� on.
