Hello, and thank you for taking the time to look at what Ed Broking’s Marine capabilities can offer to our present and future business partners.

Marine has been a core discipline since the formation of Ed and its predecessors, and remains so today. Marine insurance is the genesis of the insurance industry as we know it, and we fiercely protect that legacy, taking pride in the great industry which has such a rich history.

The philosophy at Ed Broking is to learn from the past but look to the future, our goal being to put our clients at the heart of everything we do. By reaching an integrated and holistic understanding of a client’s risk profile and needs, and marrying these with structured solutions available from the Global (re)insurance markets, we aim to deliver a tailored client service model second to none. Shipping security has become an increasingly important issue within the maritime industry, particularly over the course of the last ten years.

In recent times the yacht hull market has experienced significant losses with the result that many underwriters have withdrawn from the class. Notwithstanding this, our yacht team remain able to place business in a challenging environment.
