Introducing the second ship in the Scenic Eclipse fleetFollowing the extraordinary global interest in the soon-to-launch 6-star Scenic Eclipse, Scenic has announced that the fleet will expand to two ships. The second ship in the fleet will further strengthen Scenic’s position as the leading innovator in the cruise industry, setting an unparalleled benchmark in design, luxury and technology.
The second ship will launch in 2020, and will enable the fleet to expand its itineraries to the European and Russian Arctic, Russia’s White Sea, the Northwest Passage, Southern Greenland and along the east coast of the USA.
Itineraries will include remote and long sought after destinations including:
Russia’s White Sea – a real treat for the explorers at heart, a luxurious voyage that will more than satisfy those who long to experience the delights of this untamed territory
European Arctic – reveals the diversity of this region and take us into the kingdom of the polar bear
The Northwest Passage – the pinnacle of Polar exploration
Southern Greenland – rarely visited with wilderness that offers some of the most spectacular and un-spoilt scenery anywhere on earth White Sea, Russia
Across the Northwest Passage
Pioneering souls will revel in the historic routes we take on this voyage as we follow in the footsteps of early Arctic explorers Franklin, Amundsen and Larsen, exploring the archipelago of Canada’s High Arctic.
From Kangerlussuaq, Greenland to Nome, Alaska we’ll discover the wild and remote fjords, harbours and islands that dot the infamous Northwest Passage. Wildlife and historical sites and the men that made them famous are the corner stones to this exhilarating expedition.
