INTRODUCTION In the era of energy needs and technology where the main point in the development of human life , knowledge of these things become very important , progress is needed to get good results in the understanding and its application in real life that can be developed into innovative energy technologies. Utilization of geothermal energy is one way out to overcome energy needs in addtion geothermal energy rated very environmentally friendly. specifically in geothermal industry in Indonesia, progress is indispensable so that we can achive maximum results in geothermal indusry activities. Advancement in technology should be supported by the improvement of quality as well as human. The quality of human resources in students majoring in engineering is very influenced of supporting components such as learning facilities , universities , colleges , teachers and counselors , research institutions , case studies in modeling technology , and the company 's own geothermal field is the means of applicative of science that has been studied specialy in Indonesia If the relationship between all the components run as it has to be, then the impact will benefit the geothermal industry. Any by mean, the increasing of human resources will be overcomed by the deployment and mastery and also the development of science and technology in the geothermal sector. Therefore we as student of Balongan Oil and Gas Academy , establish a club as a purpose of discuss medium between students and faculty in the form of a campus student activity units ( UKM ) called Geothermal Study Club of Balongan ( GSCB ) . As student organization will inform about geothermal energy through discussion

geothermal energy through discussion group or another way to support the development of

increasing knowledge to get a better understanding about the geothermal industry.

We expect that GSCB can be a means of learning among students and increase the

knowledge and understanding about technologies used in geothermal industry to be utilized in

energy development especially in Indonesia.
