INTRODUCTION

Archdiocesan Commission for the Family (ACF) ACF is a commission of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Singapore that exists to help empower families to be fully alive in loving as God loves, becoming intimate communities and witnesses of life and love sharing in the life and mission of the Church.

The Family Life Society, being an Institution of Public Character, and hence a ‘secular’ body (albeit with a Catholic ethos) would function as the response of the Church to the needs of the broader population, rendering its well-established services to all segments of society.

What did we do?

• Gathered a team from different parishes – to date, a team of 14

• Deliberated the state of families and issues families face today

• Deliberated how to try to tackle these issues at the parish level

• Communicated with FLGs of some parishes

• How do we reach out to our parishes, to the right people who share the desire to do something for family life – FL Clinic
