Athletes/events to watch

Sara Parkinson – Parkinson will attempt to not only beat her own school record in the 5,000m but to try to reach the NCAA Region meet by setting a time in the 16:30’s

Men’s 800m – Three IC4A qualifiers will toe the line including school record holder Michael Christmas, Andrew Smith, and Jake Albino. This race has the potential to see the three fastest performances in school history

Men’s 5000m – The best season in UMBC history saw two runners break the 15 minute barrier, however, the combination of Brandan McGee, Sam Boimov, Todd Cowing, and Chris Bowie could see four runners break that mark

Women’s 200m – Current School Record Holder Britney Foreman and freshmen phenom Kirsten Jones will battle to see who holds the record by the end of the day

100m/110m Hurdles – With three IC4A/ECAC qualifiers, and an additional three athletes who have scored at the Conference meet, this fast track brought some of the most impressive times in this event last year
