In which I explain how I discovered some really astonishing facts about depression that led me to conclude I should write a book to let people know what I found.

As a former sufferer my goal is to share my findings with other sufferers.

I tried to take a cross-disciplinary approach and spent three years of my life researching before I wrote and published this book. My genuine desire is simply to empower other sufferers to help themselves by understanding the facts.
