Copy and paste it to a text file,
that works as a script
● This shell will endlessly repeat subscription ● every 30 seconds
for observation data,
● every 5 minutes for GRIB data,
● every 30 minutes for climate data.
![Page 37: Introduction to dar_gisc_tokyo_rev03](https://reader034.vdocument.in/reader034/viewer/2022052619/556423d9d8b42a73298b4fda/html5/thumbnails/37.jpg)
37

● Save script to a text file (any name okay: say download.sh)
● Start it as a background job $ sh ./download.sh start > /dev/null 2>&1 < /dev/null &
● Stop it $ sh ./download.sh stop
![Page 38: Introduction to dar_gisc_tokyo_rev03](https://reader034.vdocument.in/reader034/viewer/2022052619/556423d9d8b42a73298b4fda/html5/thumbnails/38.jpg)

39
Windows Notices ● When in trouble, try PowerShell .\download.ps1 start to see
messages
● Option -WindowStyle hidden closes window
● If you see Yen sign (¥) here, it should be backslash ( ): that’s problem of Asian fonts. Caution on copy-pasting.

● Open file property (by right-clicking on folder view)
