Page 2: Introduction to Energy Medicine

What is ‘energy medicine’

Regarding the organism as an energy and informational system, rather than a

mechanical device.

Approaching the body based on wider science of complex, living, consciously

interacting systems.

Identifying, and aligning to, healthy patterns of function, rather than ‘fighting

disease’.

Page 3: Introduction to Energy Medicine

EM Examples

Energy medicine may involve simultaneous insight and change.

Bioresonance, homeopathy, acupuncture, energy psychology (EFT), reflexology,

flower essences, breathwork, yoga are all examples of techniques that have an

‘energy medicine’ component.

Page 4: Introduction to Energy Medicine

Why is EM necessary ?

Life processes are ‘emergent’, not reducible to historic rules. (See Karl Popper – Natural Selection and the Emergence of Mind)

Evidence-based medicine is limited to historic, statistical rules.

Conditions in the physical body reflect prior underlying thought-forms.

True prevention of dis-ease (physical, mental or emotional) is the ultimate goal of a healthcare

system.

EM and Contemporary Science

Most science in 21st century is actually commercial technology-development.

Compared to 100 years ago, very few breakthroughs in basic science.

EM is emerging science, cutting across traditional biology, physics, medicine,

psychology and social processes.

Hence, it’s complex and emerging SLOWLY !

Page 6: Introduction to Energy Medicine

What science does

Science makes MODELS that approximate reality.

Models last until consensus on a better one is reached. This process involves friction and career-long timescales !

Models used in healthcare are highly politicised.

Evolution of models used in healthcare..

Page 7: Introduction to Energy Medicine

Evolving the model of health: 1 – the body as a mechanical system

Inspiration: manipulating physical objects

Currency: since recorded history began

Organism: seen as a purely mechanical device

Assessment: visual inspection, X-ray

Treatments: surgery, manipulation

Effective for: broken bones, dentistry, etc..

Limitation: e.g. infectious diseases

State of science: well-developed, diffused

Page 8: Introduction to Energy Medicine

Evolving the model of health: 2 – the body as a biochemical system

Inspiration: science of chemistry, microscopy

Currency: last 200 years

Organism: add in chemical reactions, microbiome

Assessment: blood tests, biopsy

Treatments: drugs, supplements

Effective for: acute infection, nutrient deficiency..

Limitations: complex multi-factorial disease

State of science: commercially developed

Page 9: Introduction to Energy Medicine

Evolving the model of health: 3 – the body as a bioelectrical system

Inspiration: discovery of nerve transmission

Currency: last 100 years

Organism: + electrical signals, electron transfer

Assessment: ECG, EEG, electro-dermal testing

Treatments: ECT, e-acupuncture, TENS, SCENAR

Effective for: some chronic conditions

Limitations: undefined

State of science: sporadic and incomplete

Page 10: Introduction to Energy Medicine

Evolving the model of health: 4 – the body as an informational system

Inspiration: genetics (static), epigenetics (dynamic)

Currency: 50 years

Organism: all above + informational blueprints

Assessment: genetic tests, interview, muscle test

Treatments: stem cells (s),

Effective for: an ever-growing range

Limitations: undefined

State of science: divided, early-phase, implications of epigenetics require new belief systems

Page 11: Introduction to Energy Medicine

Evolving the model of health: 5 – the body as an ‘energetic’ system

Inspiration: spontaneous healing

Currency: eternal

Organism: all of above + morphogenetic fields

Assessment: non-diagnostic

Treatments: aligning to another reality

Effective for: not ‘condition’ specific

Limitations: undefined

State of science: conflicted, requires integration of evidence-based and intiuitive approaches

EM ‘realities’

New physics is giving us ‘permission’ to think about more powerful models.

Observation changes the reality.

The illusion of certainty is lost.

Boundaries between doctor, patient and the ‘medicine’ get less clear.

Intention plays a role.

Page 13: Introduction to Energy Medicine

EM ideal is ‘effortless change’

Alignment to a new field can be instantaneous.

‘Willingness’ plays a part in speed of change.

Good EM does not have negative side effects.

Good information gives gentle changes.

Good therapeutic relationships give good information.

Page 14: Introduction to Energy Medicine

EM view of dis-ease

Similar symptoms does not mean same causes

Causes are an unending chain.

Exists simultaneously in physical, biochemical, emotional, mental aspects of our being.

Healing can commence on any level

There are many pathways to recovery.

There is no dis-ease label that gives a true ‘diagnosis’, just a snapshot that helps find the

best directions for change.

Page 15: Introduction to Energy Medicine

How does Asyra fit in ?

Asyra is ‘energetic response testing’ with ‘informational feedback’

The testing is like kinesiology, but with significant advantages.

The feedback (remedy) is a uniquely tailored blueprint to align to.

Asyra can also guide and inform any other treatments you choose to employ (within your

competence).

Page 16: Introduction to Energy Medicine

What is the intention ?

The intention of the session is part of the instantaneous snapshot determining the test results.

Practitioner’s role is to:– Establish rapport, explore the reality and set goals– Use Asyra to reveal a set of useful informational

blueprints.

– Interpret results in the context of your knowledge for the client’s understanding.

– Support improved health via all available models.

Page 17: Introduction to Energy Medicine

Is Asyra about homeopathy ?

Homeopathy is another ‘model’.

Like all models, its useful but fallible.

Homeopathy helps us see that ‘fighting disease’ is futile.

Homeopathy gives us the idea of ‘remedy pictures’ as fields to align to.

Asyra parallels homeopathy in many ways.

Page 18: Introduction to Energy Medicine

EM goes beyond homeopathy

Homeopathic philosophy is a useful start.

Asyra reveals unique snapshots.

All healing substances and concepts may become the ‘remedies’.

Show that homeopathy is a vibrational, rather than physical phenomenon.

We may treat on physical AND informational levels.

Page 19: Introduction to Energy Medicine

What is an Asyra test ?

A series of questions or challenges to the body using electronically recorded

signatures.

Response obtained by measuring changes in electrical resistance.

Software records responses and highlights those outside central range.

Asyra is a pre-eminent EM tool !

Very wide-ranging database created from samples.

10th generation device based on an unbroken chain of development since 1980.

Structured and prioritised testing algorithm based on 35 years of refinement.

Effective ready-configured protocols PLUS flexibility to combine, customise and create from

scratch.
