What has the teacher done to connect the content to students’ prior knowledge?

What did the students do and say to indicate they comprehend the content?

Was there a logical structure to the lesson? Was the lesson logically sequenced?

C3 – ENCOURAGING STUDENTS TO EXTEND THEIR THINKING

Does the teacher actively encourage independent creative or critical thinking?

This must be PREPLANED in the Instruction Profile.

labeled C1. Number 2 goes to C2, etc. • At the poster, please list the evidence you found for that

criterion. You will have 3 min. to record your evidence then you will move to the next poster. C1 will go to C2, C2 will go to C3, C3 to C4, C4 to C5, C5 to C1 until you have been to each poster.
