Introduction to PowerPoint 2010By Tom Kleen##For a sample, choose File | New | Presentations | Design Slides with Content | Sample Presentation Slides with Animation (Blue on Blue Design). Its about a fourth of the way down the list of templates.1Home TabThe Home tab contains the commands you use most often.

#The Home tab contains the most common commands you use most often, such as cut and paste, copy fonts, and other formatting , etc.2

Insert TabInsert pics, shapes, sound, video, etc.

#The Insert tab lets you insert pictures, clip art, shapes, SmartArt graphics, Charts, Hyperlinks, Text boxes, WordArt, movies, sound, and much more.

Animations, in order of appearance:

Entrance: SmartArt\Process\GearEntrance: Fly In from bottom: Clip art\anatomy

Optional: you can add a short movie to this slide that dissolves in after animations 1 and 2 have entered (with previous to animation 2). This can help to show how a video can add life to a presentation.

#The View tab lets you switch among all the different views. Use Normal View to create your presentation. The Slide Sorter view is helpful when you want to arrange your slides. Use the Notes Page view to type and view your notes. Slide Master view is where you can make global changes to your presentation.
