What is Sharir Kriya ?

• Sharir = Body + Mind

• Kriya = Functions like Respiratory function, Heart Function, Kidney Function, Brain Function

• Sharir Kriya = Physiology = Science of Normal Functions of Body


Importance of Sharir Kriya

• If you know physiology ,then only ,you can understand Pathology ( Abnormal Functions)

• If you diagnose ,Pathology ,then only you can give Treatment

• Normal Pulse = 72/min – Pathology 90/min – Tachycardia

• Normal BP = 120/80 mm of Hg – If it is 120/100 mm of Hg = Hypertension

• Normal Hb = 12 Gm % -- If it is 9 Gm % = Anaemia


Sharir Kriya = Dosha Dhatu Mala Vignyan

• Dosha = 3 Bioenergy = V + P + K (Vata + Pitta + Kapha)

• Dhatu = 7 Body Tissues ( Rasa ,Rakta, Mansa, Meda,Asthi,Majja,Shukra)

• Mala = 3 Waste Products ( Mutra ,Purisha & Sweat)

• Vignyan = Science
