Specialization Tracks
Introductory Session for Master Students September 1st 2017
• You need 6 to 7 specializiation courses (36 – 42 ECTS)
• 5 courses have to be from one single Track (30 ECTS)
• 1 course has to be a seminar (4 ECTS)If you chose a seminar from your Specialication Track this will count as one of thefive mandatory courses. In this seminar, students write a survey/scientific paper and provide an overview presentation of state-of-the-art research, as found within the existing literature (i.e., published research papers).
• The course „Scientific Research“ (2 ECTS) is also mandatory and part of yourtrack.
• The selection of your specialization track works as follows: The Student Services (Studienbüro) records the courses for which you have registered for an exam. As soon as these courses uniquely identify one particular specialization track this is the one you have chosen. We strongly recommend you to choose your specialization track BEFORE you choose your specialization courses.
