Strategy
Since the company’s
inception, our strategy has
evolve in response to
trends and opportunities in
the renewable energy and
energy efficiency arenas.
Greenearth Energy today
is a diversified renewable
energy company.
We have successfully
developed a strategically
positioned suite of world
class, immediate, medium
and long term renewable
energy and energy
efficiency technologies
and projects.
Our Domestic Permit Areas
Greenearth Energy was awarded three
geothermal exploration permits (GEPs) in May
2007 by the Victorian Government:
• Geelong (GEP10) – Victoria’s 2nd Largest City
• Latrobe Valley (GEP12/13) – Gen Hub of SEA
• Over 18,000 Sq km of prime permit area
• Crucial grid infrastructure and proximate heavy
industry the most advantageous routes for
commercialisation
Geelong Geothermal Power Project (GGPP)
The Project
The Geelong Geothermal Power Project (GGPP) located northwest of the
township of Anglesea is targeting to become Victoria’s first grid connected
geothermal power plant.
The Hot Sedimentary Aquifer (HSA) geothermal resource has been assessed
as having the potential to deliver up to 140MWe zero emissions, base-load,
renewable energy for more than 30 years. 12MWe Demonstration (4Ha) has
the potential to power up to 8,000 domestic dwellings.
The Stages
Stage 1 Proof of Res/Con 2 Wells + Flow Test $31.8m ($5m)
Stage 2 Demonstration 4 Wells + 12MWe $72.3m ($20m)
Government Support
Stage 1 Proof of Resource State Grant $ 5m
Stage 2 Demonstration State Grant $20m*

Geelong Geothermal Power Project (GGPP)
Onshore Gippsland & Latrobe Valley
The Region
The Latrobe Valley is south eastern Australia’s brown coal
fired generation hub with 6,000MWe of installed capacity and
responsible for 22% of the nations greenhouse gas emissions.
Dual Geothermal
System Project
Dual Geothermal System Project
The Project
Greenearth Energy and RMIT University have teamed together to develop an
efficient dual geothermal system that uses naturally occurring, hot saline
water, from geothermal reservoirs that can simultaneously produce electrical
power and fresh water (desalination)

CO2 to Fuel
Conversion Technology
The Partnership
Greenearth Energy has secured a worldwide
Research and Licence Agreement from the
Weizmann Institute of Science Israel for a
revolutionary technology that has the ability to
convert CO2 emissions into fuel.
The Market
32,000 tonnes of CO2 emitted into the worlds
atmosphere every 60 seconds*
Coal fired (brown & black) generation plus other
heavy emitting industries
Existing generators (retrofit) and new generation
applications
Huge worldwide technology application potential

CO2 to Fuel Conversion Technology
The Opportunity
The potential to turn our global CO2 challenge into
an opportunity. Production of commercially viable
fuels from CO2 emissions Represents a paradigm shift in
the global CO2 challenge
Potential to be a viable alternative to CO2 sequestration
Technology laboratory proven
CO2 to Fuel Conversion Technology
Biomass Gasification
Biomass Gasification
Biomass Waste-to-Energy Gasification
Biomass waste-to-energy gasification has the ability to convert
municipal and other solid waste steams into electric power or other
valuable products such as fertilizers and Syngas.
The Technology
Gasification is a well established, flexible and reliable technology that
represents an environmentally sustainable way to transform carbon
based material such as biomass and municipal solid waste (MSW) into
synthetic gas (Syngas) which can then be used itself as a high cost,
pollutive fossil fuel replacement.
The Opportunity
Low value waste that would typically be dealt with by way of landfilling
or incineration can be converted to Syngas and replace high cost,
pollutive fossil fuels reducing generation costs (and subsidies) and
greenhouse gas emissions. Positive economic, social and
environmental outcomes.
Energy Efficiency
Energy Efficiency
The Technology
Electronic ballast and systems for industrial and commercial
High wattage lighting
Our Focus
Warehousing & logistics, large retail, outdoor, and street lighting
The Opportunity
30-65% improvement in industrial lighting energy consumption
Responds to daylight (daylight harvesting)
Flexibility when you change the layout of equipment
Automation removes need for operator intervention
