INTRODUCTION

Bangladesh, being a small country in Asia, is gradually increasing the dimension and horizon of the feed milling industry. Index Agro Industries Limited (IAIL) is one of the concerns of Index group of Companies, started its operation in 2000. IAIL pro-duces poultry& fish feed and Day Old Chicks (Broiler & Layer). Currently, IAIL has decided to go for Initial Public Offerings.

INDEX AGRO INDUSTRIES LTD (FEED MILL DIVISION)

Incorporated in the year 2000, Index Agro Industries Limited successfully established an automated feed man-ufacturing facility for poultry feed. Such integration provided a strong thrust to its breeder and hatchery operation by ensuring the availability of quality feeds to maintain desired standards and by ensuring a steady supply into the thriving market of animal feed.The company, markets and packages it feed products under the brand name X Feed and Goldring.

INDEX POULTRY (PVT) LIMITED

To cater for the growing demand of the poultry sector in North Bengal, IPL was incorporated in 2006 in the Rangpur District. To maintain a healthy supply of healthy Day Old Chicks (DOC), IPL has established a breeder farm and hatchery at this location.

INDEX FISHERIES LIMITED

Index Fisheries Ltd. is working with Aquaculture & Fisheries business and now producing good quality feeds.
