Introduction

Investment in Afghanistan: Since the fall of Taliban regime in late 2001 and the high

level of international support , Afghanistan has made significant progress towards forming stable government

However there are some factors that effect investment like security concerns , political factors ,unstable private sectors , economic reforms and poor infrastructure

Event though there are lots of growth opportunities for foreign investors regarding investment in Afghanistan from its strategic location to low cost material and its known name for traditional products

And also Afghanistan can use foreign investment to increase its revenue , secure its finance , increase productivity and employment opportunities

Afghanistan has to turn its threats into opportunities to take maximum profit out of it

Objectives

1. To Find the reasons of foreign investment in Afghanistan

2. To know difficulties of foreign investors while investing in Afghanistan

3. To recognize the benefits investors are getting in return of their investment

4. To forecast investors future plans regarding investment in Afghanistan

5. To find new ways to use these opportunities up to maximum extent

Significance

This research was conducted based on importance of foreign investment in Afghanistan

And finding the reasons behind their investment in Afghanistan

Also it considers the threats and difficulties that traders are facing in Afghanistan

In addition it focuses on the benefits of Afghanistan from foreign investment

it can provide a general view regarding investment in Afghanistan

Methodology

This research is quantitative research in which close ended questionnaires are used

Questionnaires were distributed among group of people to get their feedback or response

Keeping students view in mind most of the questionnaires were distributed among CBS students and senior students

And made them fully aware before filling it This research conducts sample from 30 people

Analysis and finding

In this research Table , Pie chart and text are used to describe sample selected from people

Sample has taken from 30 people in which 16 were females and 14 were males

In this finding gender , age and job of the respondents were motioned

This respondents of this research were mostly between 21-25 years ages

The respondents were students in large scale

Conclusion

From this research calculated that Afghanistan is having steady demand , but with potential growth

And also its low cost raw material and its known name make it more attractive

In addition its having growth opportunities for everyone especially for those who grab at first

however these opportunities are not just benefiting investors , but host country as well

And Afghanistan can turn these opportunities as strength to increase their revenue, finance and technical resources

Apart from its security concerns , complex landing , and costly transportation

But even though benefits of investment is more as compare to risk

Recommendation

Afghanistan have to turn its each threat to an opportunity And get its more focus on security issues , tax and legal

problems and problem regarding traders to attract more number of traders

And it has to be more focused on its basics from trading facilities to future investment

In addition it has to make more efforts to create opportunities not just for investors , but also for its own citizens
