KOKONUTZ Senior Member Super Geek Join Date: Oct 2009 Posts: 1,887 Invicta Operator....your HOLD TIME WILL BE 35MINS..... That was the response I received this morning from the Invicta operator. Wow!!! Now, all you seasoned Invicta geeks know that you can go on line and fill out an e-service repair request, IF, you have your registered warranty # (on a non Reserve piece). Well, I didn't call or go on line back on 12/29/07 when I purchased my Swiss Made Black MOP SW200 time piece. Rebecca emailed me this morning to say I could call in or go online. I couldn't log my repair on line for the above mentioned reason. So, here I am, no better off, soon to be $28 lighter for s/h of watch back to Invicta to repair my second of three Pro Divers "Swiss Made" with the Selitta SW200 movement that has chewed up ratchet wheel due to use of inferior "thin" brass (not steel) machined ratchet wheel (according to my jeweler's view). Not a happy camper with Invicta now, and in light of the recent events with Eyal and Team Invicta, my calm and patience are beginning to wain. 3 Lastest Threads by KOKONUTZ Thread Forum Last Poster Replies Views Last Post Invicta Operator....your HOLD TIME WILL BE Customer Service Inquiries and Contact rhickey 29 285 06-21-2010 04:34 PM Remembering Father's Day (Update Original Post... Invicta Operator....your HOLD TIME WILL BE

35MINS.....

That was the response I received this morning from the Invicta operator. Wow!!! Now, all you seasoned Invicta geeks know that you can go on line and fill out an e-service repair request, IF, you have your registered warranty # (on a non Reserve piece). Well, I

didn't call or go on line back on 12/29/07 when I purchased my Swiss Made Black MOP SW200 time piece. Rebecca emailed me this morning to say I could call in or go online. I couldn't log my repair on line for the above mentioned reason.

So, here I am, no better off, soon to be $28 lighter for s/h of watch back to Invicta to repair my second of three Pro Divers "Swiss Made" with the Selitta SW200 movement that has chewed up ratchet wheel due to use of inferior "thin" brass (not steel) machined ratchet

wheel (according to my jeweler's view). Not a happy camper with Invicta now, and in light of the recent events with Eyal and Team Invicta, my calm and patience are beginning to wain.

My other one took the better part of 2 months. If they can stay within 8 weeks, I will

consider this a WIN!!!

Now I'm scared about my PD Reserve SW200. I've kept it on a winder since I've had it and it works without a problem. I hope you get yours repaired in a timely manner.

Would it be cheaper to have a local jeweler repair the movement? __________________

Would be around $40 parts/labor for the ETA ratchet wheel replacement and sealing back up

properly the gasket and case back.

My opinion is that if you had a sufficient "supply" of watches on hand, you wouldn't miss it if it was off for a couple of months. I

one that I had forgotten about. It's worse if I had changed out the strap or bracelet cause then I don't even remember owning it...

You got an email RESPONSE?!?!?!?!

LOL... Sorry that you are having this poor CS experience...

Yet another issue that I've been trying to overlook for quite a while now...

You have the right attitude though. It is just a watch and you do have others to wear while yours is being repaired...

Hold on to that thinking for as long as this process allows!!!

2 months??? You're lucky.....Today is ELEVEN MONTHS since Invicta has TRIED to fix my

watch (also a SW200) It had to be sent back to them THREE times and they even caused damage to the watch that wasn't there in the first place (a ceramic link scratched and red gunk all over the watch)........

Will I get my watch back before it goes over a year? and will it FINALLY be fixed? I doubt it......... I have been lied to from this company too many times (I'm not talking about the Swiss=Swiss Made thing) and I am done with this company for good..........

"Less than good" is NOT the phrase I would use.......During this past year, they have ignored me, hung up on me, voicemails and e-mails gone unanswered and outright LIED to me

(TWICE!)......

Just one more example of Invictas "White Glove Service"........

the good news is that if you do send it in when you do finally get it back it will most likely be perfect. while they are slow on the turn around they have a wonderful record in the area of repairs.

Sounds like a movement QC problem, not an Invicta QC problem. Also, I never call a CS line

for anywhere without knowing I have a 1 hr window to deal with it. Very few CS lines have immediate response and most have >20 minute waits. The things we deal with in this modern world!

Grab some cookies, a drink put on the TV and pass the time with phone on speakerphone.... __________________

if your local guy will fix it for 40 for shipping sending to invicta....kick in the twelve bucks and be done with it...and have your watch back in a couple of days.....i understand its under warrantee but where talking about

an extra 12 bucks....i just spent that at wendys......if invicta cs was AAA+++...i wouldnt think twice...but consider the aggravation and wasted time....i would let the local guy fix it....unless you dont mind sitting on hold for 30 minutes.....and around 6where your watch is.....good luck what ever you decide to do.....

bezel mishaps

i called customer service the other day to get bezel screws for my SAS cuz the fake "screws" weren't glued good enough and fell out. i was on hold for about 40 min, also had to call back like 7 times just to get a live person and then finally they tell me it's going to take about 3weeks to get the screw shipped...

i also asked if they could send me a new lume dot (also fell out cuz it wasn't glued tight)that goes on the bezel of my reserve speedway and they say "no". that i have to mail the watch

in for repair... let's get this straight! spend $20 bucks sending my watch in the mail so they can glue on a 10 cent lume dot . GET the F out of here.

My OG meteorite with the SW200 is difficult to wind as it slips when torquing the stem. Does

my watch have the same problem (brass part)?
