Consultation
Your first consultation will be with our treatment coordinator. During this, a rough estimate of your treatment will be discussed. However, this will not be the set price. This consultation is free of charge.
Examination
The next stage will be an examination with our dental surgeon to check that you are suitable and dentally fit for this treatment. This appointment will be charged at £50.00.
Impression/Diagnostic Wax Up
The next stage will be to take impressions. The impressions will be sent off to a dental laboratory for a diagnostic treatment planning. This is to show you what the end result will look like once completed. We will not charge for this service however the laboratory cost will be paid by you. The charge is normally£250.00.
Laboratory
Your work then gets sent off to a dedicated, highly skilled technician and is usually sent back to us within 2-4 weeks.
Review/Costs
During this appointment, you will be shown a diagnostic treatment plan of the end result after using In-Line orthodontics. The dental surgeon will also discuss the overall costs.
Consent
Appropriate consent and information will be sent to you via email (EchoSign). You will need to read these documents carefully and sign them appropriately and send them back to us.
Ordering Lab Trays
The order will be sent off to our specilaised dental technician where they will begin to make these trays. This can take up to 2-4 weeks.
Fit of Trays
Once we have received your trays, we will call and book you an appointment to get them fitted. At your appointment, you will try them in to ensure they are comfortable and if needed to make some minor adjustments.
Review, 4-6 weekly
After the fit appointment, you will need to attend review appointments once a month. This is so the dental surgeon can examine the progress of the aligners and to provide you with new trays.
End Result
At this appointment, you will be shown before and after pictures. During this appointment you will also receive a final polish from our dental surgeon. You will also be given a retention tray or splint at this appointment in order to prevent future teeth movement.
Annual Review
It is important to book an annual review appointment with the dentist to monitor and check your oral health. It is also important to check and monitor your treatment so the treatment does not regress.
