In 2012 Rotary Club Hateg, invites young people to summer camp

Carpathian Mountains - Retezat..

PROGRAM: ACCORDING TO THE ANNEX;Participants: 14 young people - one boy or a girl from each country;

Age: 18 25 years;

Language: Spoken language within the camp is English;

Accommodation:

Food:

Cottages, accommodation, tents on the mountain;

European cuisine, Romanian cuisine, no vegetarian food;

Costs: 270 Euro per participant. Money should be put in the account until

Tickets to and from camp will be borne by participants, Rotary Clubs and

districts sponsor; Pocket money for own needs.

Insurance: Participants must have a health insurance, accident insurance,

baggage loss insurance and social liability insurance.Arrival, 24 July

Plane - Sibiu, Timisoara Cluj Napoca or Bucharest;

Train Deva station

Visa: Participants from non-EU countries will have to obtain visa;

Terms of participation: Good physical condition, endurance;

Individual equipment: Mountain Equipment:

Comfortable shoes or boots (unused or new footwear not recommended),inside and court footwear, parka/jacket with hood preferably, cap, wool

sweater or polar, long sleeve shirt/t-shirt, pants, shorts, cloak/raincoat, t-

shirts, socks, sunglasses, water bottle , personal hygiene items, sleeping

bag, backpack, front flashlight, camera;

Suggestions: It is advisable to bring the national flag and the pennant of the sponsor

club;

Observations: Participants will have to carry food on the mountain for three days

and some common equipment, provided by the organizer(tent,primus, combustible, etc).

Free time in town

Visit the Visitor Centre of the PNR, Nucsoara village. Campsite organisation,

accommodation, Regulation processing within the camp, rangers tasks, etc;

Camp activities: Camp presentation Come to know the Retezat National Park

interactive presentation of the PNR; Climbing equipment presentation,

First aid notions; Participants will present their countries;
