The MTeM Conference is regarded as a high-level rankingconference in the promotion of research and teaching inManufacturing Engineering.Being established 65 years ago, the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca is the most important Transylvanian technicaluniversity, with its 9 faculties and 53 departments.

The first MTeM Conference was organized in September 1991 and the other previous MTeM Conferences were heldin 1993, 1995, 1998, 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009 and2011.
