The « Conseil International du Sport Militaire » (CISM) has entrusted the organization of the 7th
CISM-Regional golf championship to the French Armed Forces.
Thus I have the honour to invite your National Military Golf Team to take part in the European championship
organized by the French delegation of the CISM from the 26th to the 28th of august 2019 in Fontainebleau /
France.

The composition of the athletes shall be in accordance to CISM Regulations, Art. 4.2 &
4.3.

3. TRANSPORTATIONS
The cost of the round trip to Fontainebleau will be the responsibility of the participating
country. The organizer will ensure the transportation from Airports/Train stations to the
military Camp and to the Golf Course during the competition.
As far as possible, we advise coming delegations to travel to Fontainebleau by car to be
self-reliant in the round trips from the Compound to the Golf course (20 kms → 25
minutes).

4. CONDITIONS OF STAY
During their stay, from the 25th afternoon to the morning of the 29th of august, all the
delegations are guests of the French Armed Forces. Suitable board and lodging during the
competition will be provided by the organizer.
Lodging will be organized in individual rooms or in maximum two beds rooms.
Fitness and outside sports areas will be available for the participants.
Extra expenses such as fees for Wi-Fi in the compound, laundry services, additional food
and drinks must be paid by the consumers.
A special and free Wi-Fi will be installed in the golf Course during the event.
The cost of the round trips to the point of arrival in France is solely the responsibility of
the participating Nations. Transportation from the eventual points of arrival in France to
Fontainebleau and return will be provided by the organizer.
Transportation by bus from the Compound to the Golf Course and return can be provided
by the organizer.
Medical emergencies and first aids will be the responsibility of the French Armed Forces
which will provide medical support on the spot of the competition.
The French Armed Forces will not be responsible for medical expenses including hospital
stays, surgical procedures and other medical care beyond first aids.
All participants must travel with their own international medical coverage and medical
individual treatments are under the responsibility of the participating Nations.

5. CUSTOMS & VISA PROCEDURES
Information concerning passports, visas and vaccinations can be obtained from the French
Embassy or Consulate in your countries. The Schengen agreements exempt you normally from
any particular visa and procedure.
6. ENTRY FORMS
Preliminary Agreement : 01.05.2019 → Annex 1
Final Entry : 15.06.2019 → Annex 2a & 2b
On entry forms, the participating countries shall indicate a valid phone or mobile phone
number as well as an email address.
All the names mentioned in the forms must be written in bold and Latin letters as in
passports.
7. REGULATIONS
The competition will be organized in accordance with the most recent regulations of the
Official Golf Rules 2019 and the last version of the CISM Golf Regulations revised in may
2018.

The delegations should arrive with a maximum of 10 people (1 Tem Captain + 3 female &
6 male players). The possibility of coming with an 11th person as Chief of Delegation would
be possible with the authorization of the President of the Organizing Committee and
French Military Golf Team Director : Major Didier Pierre SCHULER :
Nations holders of Team-Trophies won during the last edition of the European
championship in Berlin are asked to come with (Spain & France).
Medals will be presented in the following order :
Individual Ladies : Bronze – Silver – Gold + National Anthem
Team Ladies Bronze – Silver – Gold + Trophy + National Anthem
Individual Gents : Bronze – Silver – Gold + National Anthem
Team Gents : Bronze – Silver – Gold + Trophy + National Anthem
A Fair Play Trophy, provided by the host country, will be awarded to the Team best
exemplifying the spirit of Fair Play and “Friendship through Sports”. The selection
committee shall comprise of : Official CISM Representative / Golf Club Director / President
of Organizing Committee / Chiefs of mission or Team Captains participating countries.

8. DRESSES & UNIFORMS
Summer and light military uniforms will be needed for the official closing ceremony which will
take place in the Golf Club, under the presidency of the CISM President.
9. WEATHER INFORMATIONS
The French weather in august in the area of Paris can range from a daily high of 25° to 30° Celsius.
The possibility of sunshine is high and the one of rain is minor.
