CONFERENCE FEE

The Conference fee is € 130 - Net Amount (plus additional feefor poster presentations*). It includes admission to the Conferencesessions, Conference Proceedings and materials, Conference dinner,and refreshments during the Conference.

The conference fee for the accompanying person is € 60. Itincludes all the items specified for the participants except theConference Proceedings and materials.

* Additional fee of € 25 is required if authors want to makeposter presentations, since the Organizers take upon themselvesto print all posters. The authors are kindly asked to inform theorganizers about the type of presentation in the preliminaryregistration – until 15 March 2013.

The authors who will not attend the Conference can have theiraccepted papers published if they pay a publishing fee of € 50 until10 July 2013.

Domestic participants can pay conference fee in RSD, an amountequivalent to average exchange rate of NBS on the day of payment.

After the mentioned deadline, the Conference fee will be: € 150- Net Amount (plus additional € 25 for poster presentations).

EXHIBITION

An exhibition will be held during the Conference, which willbe a good opportunity for the companies operating in the fieldsrelated to the Conference topics, to introduce their products andservices to the wider public. It will be open throughout theConference. Details will be sent to the companies interested inparticipation.

Exhibition fee of € 250 includes an exhibition booth,Conference Proceedings, welcome cocktail, Conference dinner andrefreshments during the conference for one delegate.

Additional fee for other delegates is € 100 per person.

DONATINGThe individuals, corporations and foundations may support the

45th IOC by making appropriate financial donations. In return, theirwork and activities will be promoted free of charge on theConference website and in the Proceedings Book.

THE 45th INTERNATIONAL OCTOBERCONFERENCE ON MINING AND

METALLURGYThe 45th International October Conference on Mining and

Metallurgy, organized annually, aims at providing a forum forpresentation and discussion of scientific research, technologicaldevelopment and practice on the subjects of geology, mining,metallurgy, materials science, technology, environmental protectionand the related engineering topics.

The Conference is organized jointly by the Technical Faculty inBor, the University of Belgrade and the Mining and MetallurgyInstitute Bor. Initially, a national conference, it then became aconference with international participation and since 2002, it hasbeen organized as an international conference.

TIME AND VENUE

The 45th IOC will be held from 16-19 October, 2013 at Hotel“Jezero”, Bor Lake, (Serbia), a tourist site near Bor, Eastern Serbia(about 260 km south-east of Belgrade).

TOPICS

The Conference topics will cover the following fields: geology,underground mining, surface mining, mineral processing, extractivemetallurgy, metal processing, materials science, inorganictechnology, environmental engineering, industrial engineering,recycling technologies, energetics, manufacturing technologies,quality management, software engineering applications,mechatronics, machining, design and construction, and other relatedfields.

CONFERENCE PROGRAM

The Conference work will be organized in sessions, includingplenary lectures, session lectures, oral and poster presentations.

PUBLISHING

The Conference Proceedings will only include the papersaccepted by the Scientific Committee. The papers should be writtenin English and in accordance with the instructions available on theConference website (www.ioc.tf.bor.ac.rs).

Selected papers presented at the Conference can be submittedin an extended form as full-length research papers in Journal ofMining and Metallurgy, Section A: Mining and Section B:Metallurgy, Rudarski radovi, Bakar, Metallurgical & MaterialsEngineering (ex MJoM - Metalurgija) and Livarstvo (Foundry) afterreviewing and the appropriate revisions.

INVITATION LETTER

The 45th IOC will issue letters of invitation to the participantswho need such a document to raise travel funds or obtain a visa.However, such letters do not oblige the 45th IOC to provide anyfinancial support. Requests for letters of invitation should be sentto the Organizing Committee.

INSURANCE

The organizers cannot be held responsible for any accidentsinvolving Conference participants or the accompanying persons, fordamage or loss of their personal property or for cancellationexpenses, regardless of cause. Participants should, therefore, maketheir own insurance arrangements and are advised to consult theirlocal insurance agents regarding coverage.
