AN UPDATE ON DORA’S TOILETS FOR SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN IN UGANDA
March 2016
The foundations were laid in February 2016
The walls then quickly followed
The holes for the ‘drop pit’ latrines were then created
The toilet bowl and rails were fitted & the walls were then plastered
Four disabled toilets have now been built at the school and there is also a private changing room facility
March 2016: One of the finished toilets nearly ready for use
A happy pupil trying out the new accessible facilities
A VERY BIG THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HAVE KINDLY DONATED TO DORA’S FUNDRAISING TO
MAKE THESE TOILETS POSSIBLE
THANK YOU FROM ALL AT OUR SCHOOL TOO AS WE NOW HAVE LOOS THAT WE CAN ALL USE
April 2016 update:
Thanks to ongoing generous donations work has now started on a second school for children with special needs to provide them
with a similar facility
Bricks are baked on site and then walls are built
DORA WILL BE BACK FROM UGANDA & WORKING ON IONA AGAIN LATER THIS MONTH & WILL UPDATE US ON HER TOILET PROJECT
