What is iOS?

iOS (previously iphone OS) is a mobile operating system developed by apple inc.

It is the operating system that powers many of the apple company's  idevices.

iOS supports devices are called iDevice .The devices include the iPhone, iPod touch, iPad tablet and the Apple TV.

An operating system is needed in order to use various applications on your computer and wireless devices.

Without iOS and its continual upgrades there would be no way to operate today’s trend setting wireless Apple devices.

In my opinion Apple iOS is a very good operating system as compared to android etc
