The Archery Team competed in the NASP State Tournament this week. The team shot its new record score of 3141. Leading high school Wildcat archers for the high school were Clint M. with a 285, Drake P. with 277, James R. with 267. Leading Ladycat archers were Kennedy D. with 263, Makayla B. with 260 and Madison S. with 255.

University of Louisville - Summer PEPP Program

Attention seniors interested in Dentistry or Medicine---the Professional Education Preparation Program (PEPP) Pre-College Summer Residential Workshop will be held at the University of Louisville from June 7 – July 2, 2015. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO ATTEND U of L FOR UNDERGRAD TO PARTICIPATE IN PEPP. You will receive academic enrichment in challenging freshman level sciences, one-on-one advising (that continues throughout college), 5 days of clinical observations in areas of interest, career exploration, networking opportunities, and much more! Above all, PEPP prepares you to make the transition to college and pave a road to success in the pre-health courses. You will also be connected to other programs and resources in the health careers pipeline. Applications are available in the Counseling Office. Application window is from November 1-March 1 (Apply early!!) 1. The first scholarship is "Aspiring Fashion Professional" Scholarship. This is a $1,000 scholarship that will be awarded to students that are interested in pursuing a fashion degree at an accredited post-secondary school or

located at the bottom of the page and click on it.

2. The 2nd Scholarship is the "Aspiring Animation Professional" Scholarship Program. This is the 4th year we are awarding this scholarship for AnimationCareerReview.com. We are offering high school seniors the opportunity to win a $1,000 scholarship. This will be awarded to students that are interested in pursuing an animation career path at an accredited post-secondary school or college. We ask that you have interested students visit our website, http://www.animationcareerreview.com/ to find eligibility information along with the online application. The scholarship will be on the right side of the page and click on it.

The deadline for both scholarships is June 1, 2015.

FACULTY: For those who chose a LivingWell plan you need to complete your LivingWell promise? It can be done one of two ways: Vitality Check (biometric screening) or the online Health Assessment (same as last year). The deadline to complete the LivingWell Promise is before May 1.

Brown Mackie College announces $5,000 President's Scholarship Program. BMC is excited to offer scholarship opportunities to students looking for post-secondary education in the fields of business, health care, legal studies, and technology. This year they will be awarding two (2) $5,000 tuition scholarships for the 2015-2016 academic year. Applications are available in the Counseling Office. Students must be admitted to BMC by May 1st to be eligible.

The Gatton Academy of Math & Science is the Commonwealth's first residential high school for students interested in pursuing advanced careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
