iPhone  &  Android  Live  Scoring  Instructions       iPhone               Android    1. Go  to  the  app  store  and  download  the  “Golf  Genius”  app.    iPhone  users  please  be  

careful  as  the  first  app  found  when  searching  for  the  “Golf  Genius”  app  is  actually  the  app  for  our  GolfTripGenius  site.    You  will  need  the  app  shown  below  titled  “Golf  Genius.”  

                               2.    Once  the  app  is  downloaded  open  it  and  sign  in  using  the  “GGID”  field.    The  “GGID”  for  the  foursome  will  be  printed  at  the  bottom  right  corner  of  your  scorecard.                                    

3.    Once  you’ve  signed  in  using  the  “GGID”  click  on  your  name  from  the  list  of  players  in  the  foursome.                                4.    After  you’ve  clicked  your  name,  you  will  be  automatically  directed  to  your  foursomes  scorecard  whenever  live  mobile  scoring  has  been  activated  by  the  professional  staff.    Press  “Edit  Scores”  on  the  iPhone  or  “Edit”  on  the  Android  to  start  entering  each  hole’s  score.                      5.    To  enter  scores  click  the  “+”  and  “-­‐“  buttons.    The  first  click  will  take  you  to  par  and  each  additional  click  will  continue  in  the  direction  you  press.    After  all  scores  are  entered  press  save.    To  view  the  live  leaderboard,  click  “leaderboard.”                          

6.    While  in  the  leaderboard  anything  in  “blue”  will  be  interactive,  meaning  you  can  click  it  to  reveal  more  information.    For  example  click  on  your  team  to  reveal  hole  by  hole  scores.    You  can  navigate  back  to  the  score  entry  by  clicking  “Edit  Scores”  on  the  iPhone  or  the  little  ball  and  tee  logo  in  the  upper  left  corner  for  Android  users.                        7.    Lastly,  at  any  time  you  can  navigate  back  to  the  Dashboard  by  using  the  navigational  buttons  in  the  upper  left  corner  of  the  app.    From  the  Dashboard  you  can:  

• Scoring  –  click  here  to  be  directed  back  to  the  scorecard  and  enter  scores  • Member  Portal  –  Results,  Tee  Times,  and  Player  Stats  can  be  found  here  

amongst  other  useful  pages  • Real-­‐Time  Leaderboard  –  to  be  directed  to  the  current  live  leaderboard  • Player  Gross  /  Net  –  to  see  an  individual  players  gross  and  net  score  in  

comparison  to  the  field  (not  applicable  for  the  alternate  shot  format)  • Tee  Sheets  –  to  view  any  pairings  that  have  been  released  by  the  professional  

staff  • Upload  Photos  –  to  take  and  view  photos  directly  from  the  app  before,  

during,  or  after  the  round.
