Dr. David Ackah – Ph.D.(CPMC. MSc. PGD. BSc. Dip)The President of IPMP
Introduction
The acceptance of project management as a profession indicates that the application of knowledge, processes, skills, tools, and techniques can have a significant impact on project success.
IPMP Training will identify the project management body of knowledge that is generally recognized as good practice. Where
"Generally recognized" means the knowledge and practices described are applicable to most projects most of the time, and there is consensus about their value and usefulness, and "Good practice" means the general agreement that the application of the knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques can enhance the chances of success over many projects.
"Good practice" does not connote that the knowledge described should always be applied uniformly to all projects; the organization and/or project management team is responsible for determining what is appropriate for any given project.
IPMP Training will also provide and promote a common vocabulary within the project management profession for using and applying project management concepts. A common vocabulary is an essential element of a professional discipline
When a team is working to accomplish the same goal, it is important for all to stay on the same page, so that everyone in the team knows what, when and how things are moving forward. Lack of coordination can lead to issues and thus hampers the work.
Dr. David Ackah (IPMP President)

A lot many times, people tend to assume that they have communicated information to others, while in reality it might haven't happened. One should make sure that the message reaches its ultimate destination. While oral communication might not be enough to convey the information correctly, written modes of communication can fulfill the purpose better.

When two or more people are trying to achieve a common goal, success depends upon who does it with the right vision. What you think is hard to be done might be easily done by someone else. When dealing with projects, don’t pre-assume things to be impossible by yourself, let your team members lay their hands on it.
