Iran Electrical Industry Syndicate (IEIS), established in 2000, is a nongovernmental organization, consisting of 389 members of manufacturers, contractors and consultant companies of electrical Industry, seeks to promote the position of Iranian electrical industry in the world.Our member companies employ some 80,000 and have a combined turnover of over USD 15 billion. IEIS capabilities are unmatched in the developing countries with some 95% of all the nation’s requirements being designed, engineered and manufactured locally including items such as gas and steam turbines, transmission towers, transformers, switchgears, high voltage cables and accessories, control and dispatching systems and more.

Objectives: Increase Iranian electrical industry share in international

markets Provide the possibility of more benefits form investing and

fulfill the electrical industry policies of country Support of members by asserting their rights Creating opportunities and extending entrepreneurship in new

fields such as energy waste minimization and the intelligent electricity building Strengthening export infrastructures for exporter companies to

success in export target markets Supporting of domestic production with emphasis on synergy

of available capacities and sharing experiences Coordinating members’ activities in order to promote the

quality of production and services Removing the monopoly and creating the competitive

environment among all member companies Enhancing the knowledge of members by

practicing and training and developing synergy among all the members Establishing investment companies in order to

finance projects. Developing the consensus and keeping

joint benefits among the members in order to successful presence in foreign markets Strategy making on direct investment in foreign

target markets in order to continuous presence of the member companies in all markets Regulating the governmental policies to

allocate sufficient budgets for entering to export target markets Informing the regulations, governmental

circulars and changes in electrical industry to members Consulting to government on decision making

and regulating policies about the Electrical Industry
