Purpose for discourse communities is to provide a safe environment to

humans and to provide a plan to defeat the enemy.

Communication usually takes place in Stark tower where they break down

clues over their enemy.

Technology is used for research, talking to each other and government, Iron

Man is made of technology and communicates to his assistant.

Topics discussed include: plans to defeat enemies, physics, and engineering.

Specialized language used is English. They speak English in order to interact

with each other, they also use high-standard vocabulary, specially iron man

since he is into engineering, mathematics, and physics.

Agency founded after World War 2 to protect earth from HYDRA’s technologically advanced

threats, terrorism and extraterrestrial attacks.

Tony Stark first joined S.H.I.E.L.D. through Stark Industries as the primary weapon provider

for the agency. As Iron Man he became an important consultant and member of S.H.I.E.LD.

S.H.I.E.L.D. uses advanced technology weaponry developed by the governments of the

world and Iron Man. S.H.I.E.L.D. also uses superheroes in specialized teams to fight

ongoing threats to planet earth.

Nick Fury is the executive director of S.H.I.E.L.D. who assembles leaders of specialized

teams such as Captain America and Iron Man, leaders of the Avengers, via video calls,

meetings and holograms.
