ironclad perimeter intrusion detection system - fence alarm system
TRANSCRIPT
IRONCLADFENCE ALARM SYSTEM
Fence sensors are no longer complicated, tailor made, unreliable and
expensive.
IRONCLAD – FENCE ALARM SYSTEMThe Ideal Solution Against Intruders
Alarm zone 1
The sensor cable protects the full
height of the fence up to 12ft/3.5m.
SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
Power Supply
12-24Vdc
The Ironclad is a sensor cable that is attached to the fence to detect any cutting, climbing, lifting or jumping off the fence. Each processor can monitor up to 2 zones with 2 separate relay output per zone, the zones are sold pre-cut in 250'/500'/1000' (75m/152m/305m).The system designed to connect to any alarm system and is able to retrofit to old or new burglar alarms /DVR/NVR/ SCADA systems.Fully wrapped by stainless steel braid the Ironclad is Ideal for installation on wire fences, razor wires and concertina coil.
The system utilizes 3 layers of false alarm filtration - Algorithm of detection based on the frequency of vibrations detecting only vibrations associated with intrusion, 22 levels of sensitivity easily adjusted with dip switches and a weather station to avoid false alarms caused by weather condition.
Potential Customers
Commercial and Industrial areas – RV/Boat Storage,
Self-storage, Grow ops, Scrap yards, Factories,
Truck/Bus yards.
Water, Electrical and Utility substations, valve station,
pump station.
Solar farms and Photovoltaic power plants.
Radio, Cellular, Communication antennas.
Oil and gas facilities of all kinds.
High end residential.
Any fenced location.
System advantage
• The IRONCLAD system complements any alarm system,
as well as integrates with CCTV camera system.
• The IRONCLAD sensor is unique in its ability to protect
the areas surrounding the site where there is high or thick
vegetation that does not allow installation of line of sight
detector (Beams, PIR).
• The sensor cable is armored and protected from small
animals bite or tear due to continuous friction.
• Ideal for installation on chain link fences or concertina
coils.
Features
• Plug and Deploy - Ready for installation affordable kits.
• No training or special tools needed, comes with installation manual
• Standalone – no software or computer needed
• No calibration - The system self-calibrates
• No Conduit needed – simple and fast to install and maintain.
• 22 Levels of sensitivity per zone easily adjusted with dip switches.
• 3 Layers of False Alarm Filtration - Extreme low false alarm rate especially with weather station unit.
• Protects fences up 10ft with a single run of cable – does not need 2 runs of cable like other systems.
• Maintenance free - 2 years warranty on the sensor cable.
• Optional weather station, stainless steel twist ties

What does the kit include?
The Ironclad Kit includes at least one spool of sensor cable in the length of choice, End line resistor pre-installed
on the cable and LPU304 (The analyzer/processor) in a weatherproof enclosure.
Stainless steel ties, Weather station, Gate connector, Gate kit and other accessories
are optional and needed to be added separately.
Where to do I connect the Ironclad system?
Each analyzer has 2 dry contact relay outputs NO/NC, those outputs can be connected to ANY alarm system,
CCTV system or any other system that can accept dry contact input such as sirens, strobe lights and even fire alarms.
How much fence can i cover with the Ironclad sensor?
The Ironclad sensor cable comes in spools of 250ft (75m), 500ft (150m) and 1000ft (300m).
Each Analyzer can monitor up to 2 zones which mean the largest perimeter that can be covered with 1 kit is 2000ft (600m).
In order to cover larger perimeter kits can be combined to cover the whole fence line.
Can the sensitivity of the sensor be adjusted?
Sure! The system has 22 levels of sensitivity that can be adjusted easily with dip switches.
No need for tools, software, laptop or any knowledge.
Does the system needs any calibration before I can use it?
No, the Ironclad system self-calibrated.
The system is a plug and play system, it requires power, sensor inputs and relay outputs and it’s working!
Does wind or rain can cause false alarms?
The way the Ironclad system works: It detects only sharp frequency vibrations that are generated by
cutting, climbing or jumping the fence. Vibration cause by the wind, rain and small animals are usually
long wave vibrations that would not be picked up by the system.
It's the difference between tapping/shaking the fence which will get detected to pushing
on the fence like the wind that won't.
On top of that, we have an optional weather station that is able to feed the analyzer with real-time information
about the weather around it and compensate for the wind and rain to give an even higher level of assurance of filtering out false alarms.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Does the weather station lower the sensitivity to avoid false alarms?
No, the weather station adds another variable into the algorithm of detection that helps the system ignore wind noise better.
It does NOT lower the sensitivity to avoid false alarms..
Can the cable be shortened/cut/spliced?
Yes, the cable can be cut to size. From the factory one end of the cable comes with the end of line resistor installed
on but on the other it's open and can be cut to fit the fence length.
Can the cable be installed on Swing gates?
On swing gates there are 2 options:
1. Using gate connector (sold separately), the connector will be connected to the cable at the opening point to allow
the gate to be opened or closed. It's not recommended to use this connected on often used gates.
2. Looping the cable on each side of the gate and bypassing under it in a conduit.
Do we need to change to another cable to bypass a gate?
If you would like to by pass the gate completely and not using RBtec gate connector than no.
As long as the conduit is waterproof the sensor cable can be put into the conduit directly and by pass
the gate and continue on the fence line on the other side.
If the cable is cut can it repaired?
Yes! Repairing the cable is a 30 second process, RBtec offers a repair kit that bridges the cut in a weatherproof
method to maintain the system performance.
The repair box is installed at the cut point, the sensor cable connects into screw terminals on both sides
of the repair box and the system is back up and running.
