IRP – International Foundation for Research in Paraplegia invites applications for the IRP Schellenberg Research Prize 2018 in the field of The IRP Schellenberg Research Prize will be awarded on the basis of scientific merit to recognize recent achievements in the cellular, molecular and clinical aes of inal cord development, plasticity and regeneration following lesions. Eligible for the Prize are young but established group leaders with outstanding achievements in experimental or clinical research related to inal cord injury and repair. The Prize sum of 100’000 Swiss Francs is to be used for research purposes (personnel, equipment or supplies) and will be handed over by IRP to the winner at the award ceremony on November 20, 2018 in Switzerland. Applications should include: 1) Description of his/her accomplishments in inal cord research (max. 4 pages) 2) Reprints or preprints of relevant publications 3) Curriculum vitae and list of all publications over the last 5 years. Applications and nominations are due by Oober 31, 2017. Eligible for the Prize are young but established group leaders with outstanding achievements in experimental or clinical research related to spinal cord injury and repair.
