Irregular Preterite verbs

Some verbs have a stem change but they are not considered stem changing verbs. They are considered irregular verbs.

The reason they are not stem changing verbs is because the stem changes in every form.

The good news is they have the same preterite endings as regular verbs. The only difference is they don’t get any accent marks.

You drop the –cir& add a “j”

It drops the er & adds a j
