SUMMARY I’m a detail oriented, multi-faceted, service-oriented professional with an impeccable record of sustained superior performance in all maintenance and leadership roles. I have excellent communication skills to go along with knowledge in the use of today’s computer programs and industry-leading technological tools. I earned my Airframes and Powerplants (A&P) certification through the FAA in only 1.5 years and have stayed current with all of my qualifications by doing my proficiency samples while serving in the military. Additionally, I’ve finished all requirements to become a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (IASSC) and have pushed the Navy’s use in the program to new heights via “AIRSPEED”. During my time as the Maintenance Officer/ Maintenance and Material Control Officer, I’ve also learned to identify and correct issues that come with product delivery quickly and accurately. I was personally involved with the integration of the US Navy’s newest Patrol Platform, the P-8 Poseidon (built around Boeing’s 737), where my responsibilities included outfitting Intermediate Maintenance Activities with the support equipment, increasing supply of “ready for issue” parts and product testing/delivery to the nation of Japan. I’ve directly supervised over 400 maintainers during my Naval service. My hands-on mentorship approach has given me a direct way to learn both the strengths and weaknesses of those on my team, enabling me to come up with creative (and often tailored) ways to further develop and hone their skill sets.
