A subway/tube/métro/u-bahn constitute a modern metropolis. So does the still-expanding ‘Metro’ of Copenhagen, for which this typeface was originally designed.

Like the expression of today's metropols ‘Metro’ is a sans-serif typeface of straight lines with a few deviating serif elements and curves. The rounded finials and line-ends create a softness contrasting the harder expression of a slightly condensed typeface. ‘Metro’ is suitable for both Display and Body text.
