Why did the crusades start? Why did a civil war start in Japan over Buddhism and Shintoism? That was because people had different religions. I think that if people didn’t believe in God the Romans probably wouldn’t have killed the Christians and accepted them as one of them because they would share the same religion of not believing in God. In my opinion, Hitler in World War II wouldn’t have blamed Jews if there were none. Who could he blame? “I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. You Christians are so unlike Christ,” says Mohandas Ghandi, the leader of freedom for India against the British Redcoats. I strongly agree with Ghandi, meaning that people who have God, use it as an excuse to things that are wrong. For example, there was a Muslim city that was attacked and burned down by Christians during the Crusade. Ten-thousand people were massacred because they had different religions. If Ghandi didn’t like Christians is there really a God? Back in the days when Columbus hadn’t discovered the New World, during the Renaissance and before religion fell apart, people had a bunch of questions. Why does the sun keep burning? Where are we from? Why do we live? Back then, people had to use God or Gods to explain those things. So most of them did, even if though today, they’re not right. But now we

have modern science which explains things that we haven’t known about. This isn’t the classic ancient times, this is the age of science. Not the age of supernatural beings. Not Titans. Not Allah. We haven’t a need for God anymore since we have science. From my point of view, religion is like an old, battered TV that has broken down ready to be replaced. Science is the replacement.
