The science of romance

The feeling of love happens when the brain produces a heightened amount of hormones, dopamine, and neutrophins. The chemical rise happens when a person sees someone who is a compatible partner, or is appealing to their needs for a partner.

The science of platonic/ness

The same chemical reaction for romantic love happens with platonic love, but without the desire for a sexual relationship. The chemicals do not rise as quickly, which is why a friendship forms slower than a crush.

Types of friendship//love

Agnetic Friendship:When two friends work with each other towards their goals.Boston Marriage:When two best friends live together.Communal Friendship:When two people are only friends when one needs another for emotional support.

The definition of a best friend.

Someone who doesn't care who you hang out with, what shit you get yourself into, or what you talk about. The only person that you trust your entire life with. The one you tell everything to without fear of judgment. The one that you have the best memories with. The one that will always mean the most to you. The only person that you could spend days and days with and still have something to talk about. The only one where nothing gets awkward. The only one that you love a lot more than they love you. 

Above all, the one's trust you want above anything else in the world. The only trust that really matters to you.

Love can’t be seen with the naked eye or completely explained, can it? Seeing IS believing, and you can’t see love. But that’s why I’ll prove it to you. Just you wait <3

Is love a myth?

You can learn to love anybody, even if you started out totally hating them. True love, is a myth, but real. Very few get to actually experience it. It’s hard to happen, because people are more shy and aren’t always their complete selves around people. None of us are. But when you find that perfect friend/partner, you can just let go and be anyone you want to be, without having to impress people.Love is no myth, just very elusive.

How do you know that it’s love?

There are quite a few ways to know if you truly love somebody. There is lust, which is just physical attraction. Like when you see a really cute guy, and you think you love him, but you just love his face. Love is when you can see yourself with that person for the rest of your life, someone you always are happy to be around. They make you feel good, and they love you too. that is love.
