My recommendations . . .

1. Get senior leadership trained and on board

2. Have a central social media team and local representatives

3. Set up a global / local team and process

4. Have clear guidelines and training

5. Share resources and knowledge

6. Have a consistent presence

7. Work together as a global team

8. Stop being afraid!
