Improving Your Sunday Worship Heartfelt and meaningful worship is one of the pillars of a healthy church. The term "worship" refers to the expression of reverence and adoration for God. As we worship we honor God and declare that He alone is worthy of our reverence and respect. March 10th at 5:30 pm we're providing a discussion which will help you and your church improve the Sunday morning worship experience. Scott Cheshire, Neil Durner, and Torrey Peterson will be present to answer your questions and provide valuable insights on improving your churches worship time. Dinner will be provided. Come join the discussion and discover a few tweaks to make your worship experience better. Is your church in need? Each year close to 900 churches in the U.S. hold their final service, closing their doors and ending their gospel proclamation in their community. Closure is often the result of unaddressed gradual decline which has occurred over decades. Churches don’t need to die. They can experience renewal and rebirth. The Missouri Baptist Revitalization Network exists to help churches understand their condition, address their issues and concerns and return to health and vitality. CCSBA CHURCH PRAYER FOCUS

CCSBA BSU James Mohler, Director I want to start off by saying thank you to all of the churches who have signed up for lunches for this semester. We have reached the halfway point of

the semester and are continuing to build relationships with the students. Every week I meet new students attending the lunch on Monday while continuing to build relationships with several of the students. Our Thursday night gathering is growing and leading to some wonderful conversations as students are digging deeper into what it means to follow Christ. We are also planning to take students to the camp grounds, over spring break, and help to prepare the camp for summer. We are also planning a trip to St Louis where we will help Oasis International with their block party to reach refugee families in the area. I ask everyone to continue to pray for Three Rivers Community College and for God to continue to open doors on campus. Pray for students as they face midterms, and for strength to finish the semester strong. Finally, if any churches are still interested in helping with lunch on Mondays we have openings for April 20, 27, and May 4th.

Executive Board Meeting7:00 PM Tuesday - March 10, 2020

The Executive Board meetings of an association are vital in helping the association develop a cooperative spirit among member churches. Each church that is in partnership with CCSBA can have 3 members from their congregation come participate in the meeting. Of course, one of those is the Pastor.

As we join together, we focus jointly on God’s direction for His work throughout Butler, Stoddard, Ripley, and Carter Counties. We also join together in praise for all He is doing in our area, and we’ll certainly pray together – trusting Him to lead us jointly as the body of Christ in reaching these counties and beyond.

Plan to be part of the meeting on March 10th at the BSU on the Three Rivers campus.
