The genuine Super Taper has a round3 pin Wahl branded plug.

The genuine Super Taper has reinforced shoulders on the hanging loop making it

much stronger.

The screws on the Super Taper blade lay flatter on the genuine Wahl clipper.

The rating label is more prominent on the genuine Super Taper, there is also an

embossed date code on the fake.

The fake has a faint square on the bottom of the lid, the genuine one is

smooth.
