Internet Safety Measures
In accordance with CIPA/E-Rate Compliance and the Tennessee State Department of
Education, It is necessary to provide actions around Internet Safety Policies that include
"monitoring the online activities of minors and must provide for educating minors about
appropriate online behavior, including interacting with other individuals on social networking
websites and in chat rooms and cyber bullying awareness and response."
Student Code of Conduct
Electronic resources are provided for students to enhance the learning experience. Access to
services is given to students who agree to act in a responsible manner. Students are
responsible for good behavior on school computer networks just as they are in a classroom
or a school hallway. Communications on the network are often public in nature. General
school rules for behavior and communications should apply.
