PAPER PANTRY SUMMER CHALLENGE

Please help the Personal Needs/Paper Pantry Ministry by putting in the needed items in the pool in our lobby. See the list in the envelope by the sign in the pool. This challenge will run through the end of August. Call Shirley Buckalew (Pantry Coordinator) with any questions at (810) 664-0570. Any financial gifts would also be greatly appreciated! This ministry is currently out of money!

PLEASE HELP US STAY IN TOUCH...

We occasionally have to contact the congregation to provide information, statements, etc. However, we can’t do that if we don’t have a mailing address and/or email address for you.

We are in need of contact information for the following people:

William Bennetts William Gerrity Julia Bullock Lynn Krogulski Todd Bunt Glenda Turcsak

Please give us a quick call in the office (810-664-9941) or email trinumc@ trinitylapeer.org with your information to help us stay in contact with you.

BETH MOORE SIMULCAST

Host: Country Christian Church on Saturday, September 17. Cost is $20/person, includes lunch if we get 10 people to sign up by Sunday, September 4; otherwise $25/person at the door. Checks are payable to TUMC and the sign up sheet is on the Welcome Table.

GIVING STATEMENTS

Mid-year giving statements are available in your church mailbox. Also enclosed with your statement is a message from Tom Wojcicki, Finance Committee Chairperson regarding the state of the church’s finances. If you do not have a mailbox, please contact the Michelle Komisak, Business Secretary ([email protected]) to make arrangements to receive your statement.

Included in the envelope you received with your giving statement was a two page Financial Overview. There was an error in the second paragraph of the 2016 General Budget Status section on page 2. The end of that sentence should read "is over $16,000 higher in 2016 than in 2015" rather than "is over $16,000 higher in 2015 than in 2016". In the event that you did not get both pages of the Overview, complete/corrected copies of the Financial Overview have been placed on the Welcome Table in the lobby.

WEDNESDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY

Please join our group for our Annual Potluck and Planning Session for the coming year, on Wednesday, August 17th at 12:30 p.m. in the North Parlor. Please bring a dish to pass. Table service and beverage will be furnished.
