Our new website is an open and dynamic repository and place of exchange for the Scholars, Authors and Researchers of the Islamic world, built as a versatile solution the website is authored and edited in collaboration with the extended community of the ISC rather than by a selected group of web masters. The goal is to more fully present the range of activity occurring within our organization granting access to a wide variety of tools and databases.

Whether you’re writing a paper, looking for potential collaborators, analyzing research performance or evaluating your library’s collection, ISC official website is built to accommodate your style of discovery and analysis.

It is an ideal place for academic citation indexing and search services, which is combined with web linking provided by ISC. It’s coverage encompasses the sciences, social sciences, arts and humanities of the Islamic World. It provides bibliographic content and the tools to access, analyze, and manage research information. A notable attribute is that multiple databases can be searched simultaneously.

Much more than simply an aggregation of databases contents and tools, It is described as a unifying research place which enables the user to acquire, analyze, and disseminate databases information in a timely manner fulfilling the varying needs of your research community. ISC employs various notable search and analysis capabilities into an Integrated access to high quality , multidisciplinary research literature.


ISC Tools and Databases

The ISC provides access to a number of databases providing journal references, conference proceedings plus citation reports and current awareness alerts.

ISC Tools can be very useful in profiling Institutions, Journals and Researchers .

drop-down main menu comprising of seven links and each expandable to several other items leads you to ISC

Right under the navigation menu in the middle of the page you’ll find ISC Databases menu. Major ISC databases in English are:

EJCR Web is a tool designed and customized in accordance with the local needs of the Islamic countries and specific

criteria. It is presented in Persian, English, and Arabic languages and works to embody other languages of the

Islamic countries. This web-based system has been designed according to the international scientometrics standards and

is available for public use.


The ISC SCI deals with the analysis of the scientific publications of the Islamic countries

based on valid scientometrics criteria. Through this index, it is possible to find the link between scientific documents and follow and investigate

changes in prevailing opinions, assumptions, methods and tools.


The ISC E-Journals is the first of its kind to provide prompt and easy access to the whole

collection of the content of high ranking journals in the Islamic world. Through this

system it is also possible to review, search or browse such journals and ultimately observe

their full list of contents.


ISC CAS allows Authors to set up a personal profile to save searches, set up search and

document citation alerts and save lists to their profiles. Authors will also be informed through Email whenever their works got cited and will

notice how often and who is citing their works.


A Selection of Useful ISC tools can be found on “Tools” menu box to the right top side of the home page. English tools of ISC are only

listed here and the rest of mostly Persian tools of ISC are listed under the similar Tools menu box on the Persian version of the Website.

ISC’s SJSS is a comprehensive Web-based manuscript submission and tracking system allowing authors to submit papers easily in several different file formats with a Web browser. They also can manage all

their submissions from one integrated Web-based interface, using one account and one password. Since the system maintains and records the

status of articles, authors wanting to know about their contributions can check via a Website rather than contacting ISC.


Questionnaires are being used in ISC to collect data for the ranking of universities in accordance with the final agreed documents on ranking

methodology. Relevant organizations and universities in the Islamic countries are requested to contribute to the ranking process by

providing the necessary data through these questionnaires.

publishes the ranking of universities in

IRAN and is tending to rank the OIC

membercountries in two

levels in the future: OIC LEVEL

NATIONAL LEVEL

evidence for editors and publishers for positioning their

journals in relation to the competition, especially others in the same subject category.

in the process of academic evaluation.
