Marketing Message:

EasyHeat’s ADKS is a ready-to-use roof and gutter de-

icing cable inclined roofs, roofs with noncombustible

tab shingles, and metal or plastic gutters and

downspouts. The cable comes in lengths of 20 to 240

feet (6 to 73 meters) and includes the appropriate

number of roof clips and cable spacers per kit.

This product is for the sole intended use of preventing

ice dams from forming on inclined roofs with tab

shingles, in gutters and in downspouts.

New Rules

• Items with an Item Status = R (replacement) must have a corresponding C (change) item.

• When an item with an Item Status = C (change) is removed from IDW, IDW will automatically

update the Item Status from R (replacement) to A (active) on the corresponding item.

• If the IGCC or UNSPSC is changed in the B1 and attributes have been loaded, loader will

receive a soft error. If loader decides to override the soft error, all existing attributes will be

deleted. This will prevent a mismatch of UNSPSC to attributes.

• UNSPSC must be a valid code in one of the previous 3/4 UNSPSC releases.

• Text type codes that begin with NETX cannot have a corresponding value field that begins with

http:// or https://


Other Changes

• A monetary price break is now allowed for T3 resale prices

• Weight and measures are no longer mandatory on G55 record.

• Added a new Item Status of M for Mature, which acts just like an A.

• Repurposed P4 (Output Price Column) from Alternate Resale Cost 2 to IMAP.

• IDW will not automatically create the default Packaging GTIN if it is not provided by the

manufacturer.

• Clarified usage of Item Status J. To be used for Replacement or Repair parts--not for

accessories.

• Added a recommended Aspect Ratio for images

• Created an MSDS template to be used when one MSDS cannot appropriately represent the

product.


• Added a new Item Status of I for Introductory

• Defined required fields for Software and Services
